Takagi Coffee, Takatsuji Honten

A coffee shop that makes you feel like working hard from morning. The coffee just goes well with the thicker, harder pudding. It was a nice point for me that the morning bread was thicker.

My wife and I love this small place which was near to Hotel Nikko Princess Kyoto where we stayed. It offers value for money at 680Yen for set of coffee, 2 pieces of bread with melted margarine, scrambled eggs, 2 pork sausages. The bread was toasted perfectly, so Oishī (delicious). We went back twice, due to affordability and delicious, breakfast for 2 days we were in Kyoto. The staff was attentive and obliging, when we told them not to add dairy product the next day. Highly recommended to drop by this quaint coffee place (where even locals also patronize).
